Well, lets see what kinda drinks we can pick out from the photo. deres the usual pepsi and coke. If u look closely, dere is also gatorade, minute maid, 7-up, miranda and root beer! hahahahaha.....

When u pry open your curtains every morning, the warm orange rays of the sun seep into our rooms through the window.

Cold crisp air rushes into your nostrils when you breathe in deeply. The lethargy within you is immediately dissipated.

The trees and flowers seemed extremely radiant and green on this morning after torrents of rain last night.

We enjoy these beautiful things everyday. The sun, the air, the rain. However, we never ponder where all these things come from.

Until one day when the weather started to scorch, causing massive conflagrations in forests. The air starts to be polluted and rain do not pour down from heaven.

Only then will we realise that enjoying such natural resources is a gift from heaven. The conditions affecting our survival are countless; something we cannot control with our own hands.

Since these conditions are countless and uncontrollable, life on its own does not happen by chance!

If all these are true, then what exactly is the purpose of our existence?

Come find the meaning and purpose of life through beautiful hymns that praise our One and Only True God.

yeah!!! i m soooo sooo glad that SAT is finally over. 4 and 1/2 hrs of exam really tested my patience and concentration on sat. Well, its my first time actually to complete the whole paper on its own without doing diff sections separately. The test centre where i took the test totally suck! I took the test at the multi purpose hall in A*JC and the hall blacked out for four times! It was raining and thundering that day so we had like 5 mins extension here and there. I juz hope dat i can do well :). Its back to studies again. I seriously have lotsa stuff to catch up!

I juz had my medical attachment too! well, i shld say that its a great experience even though it was quite bo liao and we din had much stuff to do. Attended this attachment with Clara... I must say that she is a nice girl and its great fun knowing her. We visited an ENT clinic in Paragon on the 1st day and was welcomed by a friendly doctor by the name Abraham (the sound of his name juz make me giggle... i dunno why. mayb its because 'Father Abraham has many sons...'). haha... basically, he explained the path we need to take to become a full fledged doctor and the prospects after completing a medical course. Wow, its a very hectic and rigorous course. Without the passion towards medicine, one will definitely fall back and give up. To be a reputable consultant, u need at least 11 years!!! The period when you serve as a house man isnt honeymoon either! Next we visited Radlink clinic, an x-ray diagnostic clinic. We learned the operations of MRI, CT scan, X-ray and the like...

Next day, we went to East Shore Hospital (the place where my mum is working). Its a teeny weeny hospital and the movement dere isnt dat great as compared to govt hospitals. We were posted ward 3b which is the paediatrics ward. We din had much things to do except to talk to a parent, a doctor, changed bedsheets for a hfmd patient and looked after an angmoh baby! hahaha, we went home at 1pm! the ward only had 4 patients anyway. the food was super duper cheap dere. We had a set meal (main course, soup, fruit, water) for only $1.50!!! even cheaper den sch food but but but but but it doesnt taste great! hahaha...

dats practically wat happened last week. Hectic weeks ahead for me! Hymn evangelism, CT2, comp!!! rahhhhhh!!! jia you!

till next time :)

Yo! its the 2nd week of the holidays and i can say that my holiday is nt dat productive... :p. well its the holiday so its the REST break for me. So rest and relax! (i m deluding myself! Exams are coming soon). Tried hot yoga today as part of my total relaxation and 'live till ripe old age' plan. It was okay, not as hard as Jolene or Zhen Luan said. My body is super stiff, i cant even bend all the way down for certain pose. But not bad, at least i survived thru the class amidst the pool of sweat i generated on the yoga mat. The studio isnt very hot, its just about 28 to 30 degrees instead of the 32 to 35 degrees mentioned on the class description brochure. I juz hope that my constant yoga classes now will help me improve my flexibility and hasten my recovery from my injury soon!

Its amazing hw some experienced yogic practitioner can accomplish such impossible postures!!!

haha, maybe one day i can achieve such poses :)

SAT is in 3 days! i feel so mundane doing critical reading questions, grammar questions, studying vocabulary and math questions. i juz hope that its over quickly!!

well gt to sleep! deres medical attachment tmr :)

Save The Seals!

juz had spiritual meeting in church. well, its a 3 day thingy with sermons and prayer sessions all day. Its a gd thing dat i can spend 3 full days in church as i am so bogged down with my workload recently dat i really do not spend enough time with God. Therefore, this spiritual meeting has allowed me to forgo all my stress (i confess dat i still studied my SAT during meal times, haha...) and concentrate on sermons and prayers.

i was surfing the net a few days ago and i came across a shocking piece of news...

Norway and Canada Have A New Kind Of Tourism: Killing Baby Seals

These cute and lovable baby seals residing Canada and Norway are facing a great danger: Seal hunting. In order to promote tourism, certain tour groups in Canada and Norway are promoting seal hunting. The following pictures are gruesome and they depict the cruel killings of these seals.

Is this cruel act considered a sport? Is this cruel killer considered a sportsman???

This picture touched me the most. Just look at the tears and blood from the mouth of the seal made me speechless. How can humans be so cruel to kill such creatures which are so harmless. These BABY seals are not even pests who steal our food!

Method of killing: Cobbling the seals till they are dead.

Please stop such cruelty. Such acts are not a gd portrayal on humanity. There are thousand and one other activities which we can partake during our holiday tours overseas instead of seal hunting. I believe activities like bungee jumping, parachuting and even sticking ur head into a snake hole is more exciting and heart stopping as compared to seal hunting. Please have a heart and do not have fun at the expense of others.

well, wat can i say.... its the hols again!!! so glad i dun have to appear in sch and attend those nonsensical tutorials and lectures (think K K char siew bao and 'friendship corner mrs chuah....) but guess wat, i hafta study at home! well, CT2 after the hols and SATs round the corner anyway...

I was watching tv one day (well, in fact, everyday...) and i came across this 'interesting' ad for Gatsby Deodorant featuring Takuya Kimura...

haha, his expression for this ad is totally classic man. Looks as if he is having an orgasm! i cant help but LOL when this advert is being played. My mum totally thinks that this ad is absurd while my sis juz adore Takuya... haha, come on man, he so old alreadi, why not admire some younger person!!!! but nonetheless, i think this ad definitely captures the attention of viewers, perhaps achieving the goal of the company..

The last week of sch was definitely a fun-filled and exciting one... match supports, JTS (wow, like finally), house investiture and of course, the well deserved full day!!! at least the last wk of sch ended off with a BANG!!!

VJC soccer girls match against SAJC

House Comm Invest photos...

and finally... present to u... the famous bimbos girls of S35!! hahaha

chio rite.... (cos the photo so small of the faces to be seen :p)

Japanese are super creative. Look at their game shows. I always wonder how can they come out with such wacky ideas to 'torture' their guest stars!! well, below is an example of a Japanese game show. They played with the a rubber band. This game show is also featured in the Ellen Degeneres show...... Enjoy :)

Revival Revival!!!

Whoa.... its ages dat i last posted on this blog! well, during school today, my frens were reading my blog. And suddenly, Yuhan commented, " YONG SHENG GO UPDATE UR BLOG LAH!"

Amelia then added on, " YAH LOH. YOUR LAST POST WAS ABT U SURVIVING THROUGH THE EXAMS! PPL THOUGHT U DEAD LIAO LAH!"

So here m i.... updating my blog!

well, been v busy recently dat the process of updating really slipped my mind. Just finished a hectic term 2, had House Committee Investiture and a few match supports. I can say that this term is quite fulfilling even though lessons can be quite a bore sometimes. The syllabus for my subjects are coming to an end soon, so i guess this is the start of a 3mth dash to the prelims and A levels *much dreaded*. jiayou man! Common test2 is coming up, so its a study boot camp for me during this june hols.

2 catastrophic natural disaster broke out in Sichuan, China and Myanmar. So, i will also devote some time to air my thoughts.

1. Earthquake in Sichuan, China

The earth shook once again on May12. This time, it happened in Sichuan, China. Buildings, schools and other structures fell and tumbled to the ground during the earthquake, killing about 40,000 people(death tolls r rising though...). Well, its v heart wrenching knowing that so many people are still trapped in the rubble. Most of them are students studying in schools when the earthquake happened. I just pray that the people will be reunited with their loved ones that are separated from them after this earthquake as well as the quick restoration of the town and lives of people. Here are some photos i found off the net while reading about this incident.

Besides noticing the damage the earthquake had done to the town, we also must notice the pain and anguish the earthquake had brought to those who had lost their loved ones during this earthquake.

I am glad that the Chinese government had taken prompt actions by sending rescue teams and relief teams to the mountainous regions to provide aid for the people. I am certain that such prompt actions have brought much relief to the people.

After this earthquake, there have been much debate as to why the buildings being built by the government can collapse that easily. Many point their fingers to the corrupt government who used cheap materials to construct schools and buildings that the people reside in. They are irate about the fact that these officials siphoned huge amounts of their money and tried to cut cost for the construction of such buildings. I am in no position to blame the chinese government, but i feel that the government should always care for the best interest for the citizens. The citizens put in much trust in the government and the government should reciprocate by providing basic needs to the citizens and allow them to have a peace of mind.

This incident is another test for the Chinese government. I feel that if the government do not respond to this issue well enough, the citizens may lost faith in the government. Furthermore, this incident happened when the Beijing olympics in so close by. The world's attention is surely now on China. Therefore, it is important for the Chinese government to respond to this issue well so that is reputation will not be tarnished internationally.

wow, wat a mouthful of angst within me. well, i pray that God will protect the people as well as our church members dere.

till next time :)

well, my week has been quite boring due to the fact that i was sick this week. been down with a bout of food poisoning so i did nothing bt to lie on the bed, made frequent trips to the toilet and watch tv.

common test is coming soon, so the mugging season starts today! been memorising my bio spa since 8 oclock so let me demonstrate my skills!! hahaha...

" Enzymes are protein in nature and they act as catalyst by lowering down the activation energy needed for the reaction. They are composed of amino acids arranged in a chain and the chain is extensively folded to give rise to a specific three dimensional structure with an active site. The active site is complementary to the substrate. The volume of gas produced can be measured to determine the rate of reaction."

rahhh.. wat a mouthful but this is wat we must do as students... so tmr, i shall go into the lab and regurgitate wat i have memorised!!!!!!!
at least i get to sleep late :)

make a difference

on the 29th of march, 8pm... be sure to turn off your lights in your home.
Do a part for Earth, stop global warming...

Turning your lights off may be a small gesture. But it is a small step whereby people actually do take action in conscientiously reducing their consumption of electricity. This movement also serves to inspire all of us to do a part in environmental conservation.

So let us all participate in Earth Hour 2008. Tell your friends, link to this website (www.earthhour.org) and sign up with earth hour. Discover your ability to make a difference.

well, conserving the environment has been on my agenda since i went for my sikkim trip. It is during this trip that i truly know the importance of conserving our beautiful surroundings. The beautiful mountains, lakes and seas are God given and its a privilege for us to live in such a beautiful world. However, we are causing harm to earth by littering, massive extraction of raw materials and pollution. Scars have been left on our beautiful home as a result of our economic activities. We should continue to conserve our environment and not leave a living tomb for our future generations. Therefore we ought no prevent the worsening of global warming and pollution. Do our part in environmental conservation :)

My thoughts on 2007

hmmm, the closing of a year evokes much thoughts and impression within me, as well as aspirations and resolutions for the new year. So... i shall post a final post before the year closes as a form of round up of what's been in my agenda for this past year!

2007... a roller-coaster ride for me basically.
This year has given me lots to think about and reflect upon actually...
but i thank God for the wonderful year and all the things that has happened.

Jan: A brand new chapter begins as i begin my JC life in VJC. Well, was real happy that i was posted to VJC as it's quite a good JC and it is in close proximity to my house. Had a memorable orientation for the 1st week with the theme 'Pirates and Patriots'. Enrolled into a wonderful class 07S35. Attended Back 2 Basics camp conducted by 23rd VJ ODAC. Well, it was during the camp that i made the decision to join VJC ODAC.

Feb: celebrated my 1st bdae with 07S35. Crazy class, made me rip open layers n layers of newspaper to reveal a lame-o present, a superman metal pencil case which i used for almost 4 mths. well, also received my olevel results this mth. Was quite pleased that i did quite well and managed to stay in VJC after the first 3 mths. This was the mth i started my OLC days. Got into a group called Typhoon. As wannabe ODAC instructors, we went through gruelling selection camps where we took part in a land expedition n sea ex. Horrendous memories man! oh, i signed for house comm interviews too. wow, the interview was absurd man. made me pole dance, talk to a pail, create a stupid dance. i was lucky that i passed the interview and became a house comm nominee...

Mar: a mth of camps and camps and camps. 1st came OLC camp part2 where we have our urban ex and our climbing trip to berkelah falls. After a torturous term in OLC, i was finally an ODAC instructor! then came house comm camp. It was crap bt fun! din manage to go for IY camp... shame...

Apr: very very busy with house comm stuff. Lessons are going full force too! Cheerleading plus sports day. Its driving me crazy!!! reaching home at abt 10-11 everynight! crazy hor!

May: nervous month! its house comm elections! well, we had to do speeches in front of the house. Since its house comm speech, we had to do sth out of the norm. i rapped in front of over 200 over ppl with stupid props and a non-rhyming rap!! hahaha... after the voting, i became captain of phoenix house.

june: HOLIDAYS!!! well, before the holidays really started, i had a memorable spiritual convocation in church. its the 80th anniversary for TJC singapore n we had a special 80th anniversary commemoration spiritual meeting in Adam TJC! then i had an ODAC trip to Mt Batu Putih in perak. It was a TORTUROUS climb n i suffered much brutal injuries like 2 nails dropping off, many many cuts etc.... After the trip, its study time for me!!!! for the midyrs aft the hols...

july-sept: lessons start full force. Leadership roles are taking the effect and many courses for ODAC instructors. in short, BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!!

oct- nov: Promos and pw!!! killing me softly....

dec: theolo!! its a wonderful theolo exp (see previous posts...)

wat a roller coaster year. tiring, bt meaningful :)

wat installed for me in 2008????
can't wait!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

mr december

wohoo!! december has been a busy yet fulfilling month for me because of the theological course i attended in church... its a great experience cos you get to learn the words of God, live in communal with all your friends for 3 weeks and not to forget all the fun but stupid moments you will share with your friends...

well, the going gets tough when u have struggle to keep your eyes open during lessons, study for tests and rush assignments. However, time flies very quickly when u have the company of your friends.

Rushing my assignment! well, so many people complain about my mini handwriting. "Aiyo like girl arh, aiyo so small. Wha the preacher need 100x magnifying glass arh etc"

we generate uber loads of rubbish during lessons. Look at the amount of sweet wrappers, tissue papers, paper scraps etc.... haha..

we had a fair amount of counselling sessions during this theolo sessions. Well, counselling as in chit chat session and not the REAL counselling sessions. We dealt with many taboo topics during these sessions like pornography, masturbation, BGRs, marriage etc...

my macho counselling group !!

camwhoring....

finally a decent one...

not forgetting the times when we felt hyper and energetic.. we had JUMPSHOTS!!!

and because its my final year in theolo, i get to receive my graduation cert n report card from the dean...

oh, this photo was taken with my auckland friend Eden. cool name rite... as in the garden of eden! hahaha...well, the real fun starts after theolo. First we had a fellowship after the course where the final year students had to plan for the other students. We had to plan games, prepare food etc... we prepare d some cocktail for them. It was a disaster man. Being the in charge for this thingy, i was literally driven crazy. Well, at least the cocktail din taste THAT BAD...

we also had games after hymn singing and food. We played a game called 'guess the real actor'. we had to act in various situations to make others believe that we are the real person being tortured. We had to dip our feets in cold water, eat wasabi, drink lemon juice...

me playing the piano!

me getting tortured in the cold water!!!!

me torturing others!!! heehee

sadly, we also have to bid farewell to our overseas friend!!!!

haha, these arent all my photos actually... well, do check back for more!!!

3 more days to 2008... excited???
for me, i have to get back to the gym to make up for 1mth without exercise!! my muscles are soft like jelly!!!!

Dorm Craze

haha, hongyuan n myself went crazy in the dormitory a few days ago and we started to camwhore using my macbook...

well, we are not allowed to us
e electronic equipments in the dormitory during the camp so we did it illegally..... haha..

wha, dis this the most RETARDED one!!! haha

well, we are just bored... :)

and finally...
a normal one!!

and the retro sepia version!!!!

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

wow.... i realised that i have not posted for such a long time!!! my bad my bad... been real busy in church recently attending a camp...

well, the time i spent in church is real enriching. I really treasure the fellowship i had with my brothers and sisters in christ as well as learning the words of the Lord. Well, it can really be hectic when we have to complete our duties, study for our tests, complete our assignments as well as not to doze off in class....

during one of the sessions in the night, we were shown a very meaningful video. Its called Heavenly Hope...

the journey towards the Heavenly kingdom is long and strenous.

Will you endure to the end?

p/s: touching yeah?? haha..

Finally, the PEAK!!!! the view atop the peak was mind-blowing! (literally and figuratively... haha)

Beautiful sunrise

The climb to the peak at 4.30am was excruciating man. Ms ng climbed super fast, leaving me and Syzanna alone. I had to find my way through the dark using my faint LED light. Lucky i did nt fall up the steep slopes! But, all the fatigue and pain was immediately forgotten when we camwhored on the peak!!!! haha, my face was frozen up dere, so all my expression tend to be th same!teehee, so proud of myself for reaching to the top!!!!! :)

was browsing through youtube todae and came across this video Your Guardian Angel by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Nice song by the band. The video was created using scenes from the movie A Walk To Remember starring Mandy Moore. Its a very nice video 'cos the lyrics fit in very nicely with the video.

Your Guardian Angel- Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

When I see your smile
Tears run down my face I can't replace
And now that I'm strong I have figured out
How this world turns cold and it breaks through my soul
And I know I'll find deep inside me I can be the one

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

It's okay. It's okay. It's okay.
Seasons are changing
And waves are crashing
And stars are falling all for us
Days grow longer and nights grow shorter
I can show you I'll be the one

I will never let you fall (let you fall)
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all (through it all)
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

Cuz you're my, you're my, my, my true love, my whole heart
Please don't throw that away
Cuz I'm here for you
Please don't walk away and
Please tell me you'll stay, stay

Use me as you will
Pull my strings just for a thrill
And I know I'll be okay
Though my skies are turning gray

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
[to fade]

Nice lyrics :)

Project E=MC2

hey hey!!! i am finally back from my 2wks stint in Sikkim, India... Well, i really love the town called Yuksam. The people there are real friendly and the environment is refreshing and clean.

VJC ODAC has also conquered the Dzongri trail. Wohoo!! at 4000m! the view there is real fantastic!! Shall blog abt my whole trip soon when i receive all the photos!

Seriously speaking, i really miss the place after leaving for juz 2 days. Well, juz make a trip dere n u will get wat i mean. the view dere is simply adorable. I was overwhelmed by mountains, forests, lakes when i was there. The environment is very different from Singapore where tall buildings adorn the city skyline.

Problems...

1. To find a woman you really like, you need time, as well as money!
Therefore,
WOMAN= TIME X MONEY

2. There is a saying which goes time is money.
Therefore,
TIME= MONEY

3. Therefore,
WOMAN= MONEY X MONEY
WOMAN= (MONEY)2

4. "Money is the root of all problems"
Therefore,
MONEY= √ (PROBLEMS)

5. Therefore,
WOMAN= ( √ (PROBLEMS)2 )

And...

WOMAN= PROBLEM

shop shop shop for my trip

Wohoo!!! VJC Odac is going sikkim this year end. Hmmm, i shld say that its a rather special trip. Normally, we would go overseas to conquer mountains, cross rapids and battle the unknown jungles. Buttttt..... this trip to sikkim would be different. Besides climbing (trekking) the mountains in sikkim, we would to something meaningful! we will help plant trees, set up herbal garden i.e. help conserve the environment. At the same time, we will interact with the kids, students and volunteers at the Kanchendzonga Conservation Commitee there. It would be a meaningful experience as we would learn abt the problems that plague the environment dere. It is hoped we can apply the skills learnt there and promote environmental conservation in spore.

its a v long trip!! frm the 9th to 24th nov!! hmmm, wonder will i survive dere man!! hahaha, to prepare for the trip, we have did some training, which includes running and climbing stairs! well, the trip would nt be that tough compared to the batu putih trip during the june hols..

went to pick up some gears recently. i muz sae.... the gears are not cheap man! i bought a set of thermal, fleece jacket, fleece pants, water-proof outershell... super expensive!!!! oh n a new bagpack and daybag!!

Rahhh!!! Expensive stuff!! hurhur..

it would be very very very cold dere.. around 5 degree. i m v afraid of cold... so i hope i will survive! well, the journey is arduous. 3 days of travelling! i tink hor, i will hav butt cramp for the 4hrs flight, 1hr transit and 8hrs of jeep ride man!

more updates about sikkim trip coming soon!!! watch dis space!!!

project work woes- part 2

I believe the project work syndrome plagues every JC student in spore.. Long hours have to be spent on churning out imaginary reports, ideas backed up with numerous e-mail correspondents and survey results. Furthermore, u have to work with 3 or 4 other groupmates in order to make this project a realistic, well-substantiated and reliable. Students also need to juggle with many jargons which include PI(Preliminary Ideas), EoM(Evaluation Of Material), WR(written report), OP(Oral Presentation) and also I n R(Insights and Reflections).

My project task was Groundbreakers and my groundbreaker was Charles Fritts, the inventor of solar cells. Well, after months of research, arguments, tantrums, headaches and late nights, i can finally say that my PW days r over!!!!! well, nt after i finish typing my I n R which is due on monday.

Well , my OP was todae and i can say tat it went fine... haha, the atmosphere was scary though with all ur classmates and 2 assessors staring intently at u, looking out for ur tone, pace and body language.. At least my presentation went well. Kudos to my grp members for delievering a good presentation, esp the quiet ones (u know who!!). haha, remember to clear ur throat b4 u speak if nt u will get phelgm stuck in ur throat!! haha, q n a was v scary experience!! well, i was asked abt the slow awareness of solar cells even though it is useful as an alternative fuel source... haha, i juz crapped out a few pointers bt i guess it went well!! OP was such a funny experience, esp with the HUGE sticker u have to paste on ur chest.... it has ur name printed on it so that examiners can identify u! haha, nv seen my name SO BIG b4!

juz endure through the I n R n i m done... on monday after i hand in my GPF(Group Project File), I WILL BE FREE!!!! yippie!!!

well, i feel that pw shld nt be done last min. my grp consist of all last min ppl, so we have to endure many late nights b4 the date line to get work done!! haha...... well, i hope i get a gd grade (An 'A' man!!) after soooo much hardwork!!!!

i alwaes have dis bad habit of nt waking early. everytime when i want to wake up early for a jog in the morning, i fail to do so, alwaes giving excuses to sleep more! until..... i sleep till v late for a jog.. tsk tsk.

came across this cute lil comic frm baby blues showing the sleepiness of dad....

Couch Potato Recommends....

i was searching youtube for some nice videos to watch and i stumbled upon this song apologize by one republic.

heres the lyric:

One Republic - Apologize

I'm holding on your rope,
Got me ten feet off the ground
I'm hearin' what you say
But I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say that...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall
Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
But it's nothing new
I loved you with a fire red -
Now it's turning blue, and you say...
"Sorry" like the angel heaven let me think was you
But I'm afraid...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

Guitar/Piano Bridge

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
It's too late to apologize, yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah -
I'm holdin' on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground...

Love this song cos its sooo emo... sometimes we do need sad and emo stuff...

FULL DAY FULL DAY!!!

project work woes

thur op, fri op, next mon op, tue op, wed op, thur op, fri op, next mon OP EXAM!!!

after dat we have to complete our reflection n our file....

i m so tired of it!

Youth Retreat To Malacca and A Famosa

TJC youth group recently went to malacca for a youth retreat. well, juz a short 2d1n getaway. My initial impression of Malacca is that its a rather sleepy town with v few people and cars on the street. a rather sleepy town in my opinion. the houses dere mostly low rised. v few condominiums and high rise buildings... its a refreshing change frm the land scarce spore.

we booked into emperor's hotel at about 12 plus. Hmmm, emperor's hotel. a rather decent hotel i muz say, but their buffet food was TERRIBLE!!!!!!! haha, in other words, edible! but at least, the rooms are quite clean n comfy. deres hot water! the view out of the window was nice too. too bad i din manage to get the rm with seaview.

being an adventure loving person... i decided to explore the hotel with Alvin, Azriel, Johnathan n John... it was too bad dat the pool was closed for maintenance. bt it was quite gross. murky water wif algae on it! hurhur.... being adventurous, we climbed up all the way to the roof top to explore!!!

i muz say dat the view frm the roof top is gorgeous. u get to see the whole malacca...
but it was rather warm up dere.
argh, i m the shortest dere!!! hmpf!!!!!!!

oh, sth bizarre to share!!! dere was this 3 story house on the rooftop. it has a very grand chandelier in it... bt this house has no furniture. it appears to be uninhabited for many years cos its v dusty and the lift lobby outside seems rather yucky... walls filled wif algae and water leakages everywhere.... this house seems haunted... woooooooooooooooooooo

we had service in the function rm, followed by dinner. after dinner, we went to the famous jonkers' walk for shpping!!! well, its very very very crowded over dere. din manage to see much cos of the crowd dere. bt i bought a shirt and spongebob keychains. i bought a shirt frm a v interesting boutique. its called the orangutan house....

They sell very very interesting shirts wif nice and eye catching designs. these designs are drawn by the in-house artiste charles cham. the car in that shop is rather cool.

The next day was rather unfruitful. was supposed to go to the water theme park at a famosa. bt cant go due to the fungal infection on my feet. so we roamed around a famosa. well, its juz a kinda integrated resort in malacca with wide sprawling grounds of... nothing... hahahaha...

well, funny things do happen in this trip. the mini van broke down, causing another grp to be trapped in malaysia for 6hrs. then, yvonne gt detained at the custom for abt an hr cos she brought in some poppers!!! so poorthing bt surely hilarious!!!! hahahaha....

Couch Potato Recommends....

i juz love to laugh...

its super hilarious looking at this lil thing laugh his lungs out. He is soo easily tickled.

well, laughing has its benefits!
1. U train your cheek muscles
2. u get toned abs
3. u get red and flushed face dat makes u look healthy!
4. it reduces ur stress!

well, sometimes when the going gets tough, ppl tend nt to laugh or smile... black faces..
juz rmb to smile ppl!

psst: frowning causes more wrinkles den smiling!!
